Membership

Q: Do I have to be a member to use the Club?
A: The Sanctuary Spa and Pro Shop at Courtside are open to the public. You must become a member to use all other areas of the Club.
Q: Can I bring guests to the Club?
A: Guests are welcome to use the Club. However, they must be accompanied by a Courtside member and must register at the front desk every time they visit. Each guest is limited to a maximum of 2 visits per month. See guest fees below.
Please note: Courtside requires all guests to complete a Guest Liability Waiver at the time of check-in. Club members are responsible for their guests' conduct and the appropriateness of their attire. The Club reserves the right to limit the number of guests a member may bring in, and to adjust guest fees at any time without prior written notice.

Q: What discounts do members receive?
A: : Members receive special pricing on all Club services, from personal training sessions to spa treatments. For information on current member specials, check the Club newsletter or visit specific departments on our Web site.
Q: Does my membership give me access to any other clubs?
A: By upgrading to Club West, our premier-level membership, you'll have access to all 8 clubs in the Western Athletic Clubs family. Courtside members also receive reciprocal guest privileges at over 6,500 clubs worldwide through IHRSA, the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association. Q: Is my initiation fee refundable?
A: New members have 20 days from their join date to receive a full refund of their initiation fee. After this 20-day period, initiation fees are not refundable.
Q: Is my membership transferable?
A: Club memberships are not transferable to another individual. However, you may transfer your Club membership to another Western Athletic Clubs facility. If you are interested in transferring your membership, please contact a membership representative.
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: : In order to cancel your membership, the Club requires 30 days' prior written notice. You must surrender all membership cards and locker keys, and pay any outstanding account balance. Your resignation is effective when 1) the Club receives written and signed notice of resignation, all membership cards and required payments and 2) the 30-day notice period expires. After the effective date of your resignation, you will not be subject to any further dues.

Billing

Q: When is my payment due?
A: Payment is due on or before the tenth day of every month to avoid late fees.
Q: Where can I send payments?
A: You may drop off payments at the Sports Desk or Business Office. You may also mail your payment directly to the Club. Our address is 14675 Winchester Boulevard, Los Gatos, CA 95032. We recommend that you use the envelope accompanying your statement and write your membership number on your check.
Q: Can I pay my bill automatically each month?
A: Through electronic funds transfer (EFT), you may automatically deduct payments from your checking or savings account. You will still receive a monthly statement that itemizes your monthly charges. To sign up for EFT, contact the Business Office at (408) 395-7111 or download our EFT form. Complete it and return your signed form along with a voided check to our Business Office. You may also drop it off in person or mail it to 14675 Winchester Boulevard, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
Q: What is the billing cycle for membership dues?
A: The billing cycle is 28 days. Statements are sent to members on a monthly basis and reflect the next month's dues and past month's payments and charges. For new members, your first bill will include the current month's dues plus next month's dues.

Club Policies

Q: Where can I use my cell phone in the Club?
A: Cell phone use is welcome in the lobby, sub-lobby and outdoor areas of the Club. We appreciate your cooperation.
Q: At what age can my child use the Club without supervision?
A: Children 16 years of age and older may use the Fitness Center and attend Group Exercise classes without certification or parental accompaniment. Children must also be at least 16 years old to enter the Adult Pool and outdoor spa area.
Children 13 through 15 years of age are permitted to use the Fitness Center and attend Group Exercise classes if they are certified by a member of the Club's Youth Training Program. This program is offered free of charge. (See Teen Training Certification)
